These FAQS concern only our products. For FAQS about electronic smoke in general, about electronic cigarettes and about the most recent scientific studies, please visit the websites found in the Link section.

  1. What is your e-liquid made from?

It’s made from vegetable glycerine (40%), propylene glycol (50%), purified water (10%) and nicotine (in products containing nicotine). All components have pharmaceutical grade purity.

  1. What makes your e-liquid different from other producers’?

The level of purity, even though it’s always pharmaceutical grade, may vary; the lower it is, the more the impurities end up in the e-liquid. The quantity of these impurities, their type and other aspects affect the organoleptic quality of the e-liquid. Elusto only uses components that have the maximum purity (for example, our nicotine is 99.9% percent pure, the highest purity possible, the most select) and that are obtained through procedures that don’t produce impurities that are harmful to your health and that alter the final taste of the e-liquid.

Our vegetable glycerine is produced without the use of raw materials deriving from the Jatropha plant or from its oils. The Jatropha plant is classified as a noxious plant in some countries. Oils produced from the Jatropha plant contain carcinogenic substances and pose high risks for the health of people and animals.

Moreover, our vegetable glycerine complies with all of the Directive EG 2007/2008 requirements pertaining to the allowable content of allergenic substances in food ingredients. That’s why they don’t contain any of the allergenic substances listed in Appendix III like:

Cereals containing gluten, crustaceans and crustacean products, eggs and egg products, fish and products, nuts and nut products, soy and soy products, milk and dairy products, celery and celery products, mustard and mustard products, sesame seeds and sesame seed products, lupin and and lupin products, shellfish and shellfish products, etc.

  1. How do you use the e-liquids?

The bases, or neutral liquids, containing no nicotine, 9 mg/ml of nicotine or 18 mg/ml of nicotine can be used directly in the electronic cigarette by diluting the flavorings in them. The base containing 36 mg/ml of nicotine cannot be used directly in the electronic cigarette, but it must first be diluted with a base containing no nicotine as to reduce the nicotine content to the desired level.

  1. How do you dilute the bases?

To dilute the bases you can use one of the calculators that are readily available on the sites in our Link section or online. By using the 25 ml graduated beaker (1 ml gradation) and the 100 ml graduated beaker (5 ml gradation), you can obtain and dilute any quantity and concentration of e-liquid. If you need to mix a quantity of base liquid equal to 45 ml (or similar amounts), you can fill the 25 ml beaker up to 25 ml (there will be plenty of room left), pour its content into the 100 ml beaker and then fill the 25 ml beaker again so as to reach precisely 45 ml.

If you need to measure quantities like, for example, 18.3 ml, you can fill the beaker up to 18 ml and a third of the gradation mark, or half if the quantity is 18.5.

It is recommended to always use gloves (as to avoid direct contact with products containing nicotine) and to wash the beakers with hot water and soap after every use.

  1. How many drops of flavoring should I use?

The number of drops of flavoring to dilute varies based on your taste and on the electronic cigarette that you are using. Here is the chart showing the minimum quantity to use in every 10 ml of base. As you can see, the number of drops of our flavorings is much less than that of many other flavorings found on the market; this is because of their high concentration.

We recommend that you follow the minimum dosage and then add the flavoring one drop at a time if you aren’t satisfied. We suggest that you go over our recommended minimum dosage by 1 or 2 drops at most, after which the flavoring could be too much and could lose its organoleptic qualities.

Pour the flavour's drop in the base, shake it for a few minutes and let stand for at least three days before use.

Our recommended minimum dosage has been tested with iClear 16 Dual Coil Atomizer Head.

  1. What is the composition of your flavorings?

Our flavorings are made from 92-95% pure propylene glycol USP and from 5-8% aromatic molecules.

They are food grade products, but this doesn’t mean that they are food flavorings. It means that they are flavorings for electronic cigarettes that have been created with the same molecules (but different formulas) as those used in food flavoring. Food flavorings have specific characteristics for their use in edibles, like those for electronic cigarettes have specific characteristics for their use in e-liquid.

  1. Why don’t you sell 100 ml or other size bottles?

We will soon have 1 liter bottles for consumers and 10 ml already flavored bottles for sellers. We’ve decided not to use 100 ml bottles at present, but this may change in the future.

  1. Which methods of payment do you accept?

We accept payments made by Paypal (only certified accounts).
